Fall Scavenger Hunt for Kids Printable, 4 Autumn Mindfulness Activities, Nature Walk & Indoor Fun
DESCRIPTION
Turn an autumn walk, a grocery trip, or a cozy afternoon at home into a little adventure in noticing.
When you want something meaningful to do with your child without planning a whole production, these four printable autumn scavenger hunts give you an easy place to start. Follow your child’s curiosity, discover small details together, and leave room for a little creativity along the way.
I drew and painted every illustration by hand and designed these printables myself. From watercolor leaves and woodland treasures to cozy home comforts and storybook animals, each page brings a little of my art into your family’s everyday adventures.
FOUR PLACES TO EXPLORE
• Autumn Outside: Notice changing leaves, tiny details, textures, movement, and sounds on a walk through your yard, park, or neighborhood.
• Autumn at Home: Discover familiar spaces in a new way through soft textures, patterns, light, quiet sounds, and cozy spots.
• Autumn at the Library: Explore book covers and illustrations to find autumn colors, animals, weather clues, and little details hiding in pictures.
• Autumn at the Market: Turn a grocery store or farmers market visit into an adventure with colorful produce, unusual shapes, patterns, and discoveries.
MORE THAN A CHECKLIST
Each hunt follows a simple rhythm:
NOTICE: Explore eight easy-to-understand prompts that invite children to look, listen, and pay attention.
PAUSE: Take a moment to look again or settle into the experience.
RESPOND: Use the open creative space to draw, write, scribble, or make a little collage inspired by a discovery.
There’s no need to race, find every item, or make a perfect picture. Skip a prompt, choose your own discovery, or return to the page later. The fun is in slowing down and seeing what catches your child’s attention.
